Infinite Patience**

Lord, your patience knows no bounds,
as you follow me around,
as I wonder through each given day,
you are there to guide my way.

Through mundane chores to grocery stores,
you never tire or get footsore.
You never ask to take a break,
you never scold when I am late.

You teach me lessons I sometimes learn,
though I forget your anger never burns.
You gently remind me the way I should go,
until it becomes a way I will always know.

Words written on this and that, just scraps,
of a work that waits for me to fill the gaps,
to become what you would have me say,
in a most amazingly inspiring way.

You have designed the needed time,
to finish the work I know is not mine.
Bring me back though I might stray,
to what matters most in these waning days.

and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and
transgression… 2 Peter 3:15 "and regard the
patience of our Lord to be salvation…"
