As The Rain Begins To Fall

[1st v:]

As tears begin
To fall like rain

You begin to realize
Things will always
Stay the same

The person you love
Cares for you not

And the only thing
You get from them
Is pain and emptiness
Quite
A lot

What brings them
Happiness and joy

Is ripping your emotions
And mind apart
Like you are their
Personal toy

[1st ch:]

As your tears
Fall like rain

You're grateful the one you love
Is not around
So their happiness
Is fulfilled
In mighty gain

While you give them your love
And profess
What is so deep in your heart

He stands bold face
And smiles
While tearing you
More apart

All through the years
He found me
This is true

But not because he loved me
But to make sure
Pain was my company
Nothing further
I can do

[2nd v:]

I gave my heart
He crushed my soul

I bared honesty
He could care less to know

I never spoke any wrong
Or did unjust
This is true

He could care less
Causing me misery
Is what he is set out to do

Love is not the factor
In this play

To break my heart in millions of pieces
He strives at
Each day

He smiles so brightly
With another

Taking great pride in knowing
He caused pain in me
Eternity is forever

[2nd ch:]

As your tears
Fall like rain

You're grateful the one you love
Is not around
So their happiness
Is fulfilled
In mighty gain

While you give them your love
And profess
What is so deep in your heart

He stands bold face
And smiles
While tearing you
More apart

All through the years
He found me
This is true

But not because he loved me
But to make sure
Pain was my company
Nothing further
I can do

[close]

Love and happiness
He maintains

Built upon
Knowing of my love and misery
All for his and her
Personal gain
