Reach Your Goal
[1st v:] When I go When I take That step Does it stay the same Or now Do I really know Take a guess Take a moment For a thought Results meeting in Emotions fought Not right Not expected Love breaks In to Too many tears Giving plenty to fill The mourned sight [1st ch:] Water rises to steam Rain falling Dark clouded Gray colored dreams Turn the pages The story plays out Once again.... In twisted stages Ending now Just as tragic Emotions ravaged Careless thought Hearing nothing of broken words Silent in static The arrow hits The heart Straight and narrow Fires burning.... Agony on a roll What price to pay To reach your goal [2nd v:] Egypt's sands Can do so much Being back alive The missed Unknown gentle touch Looking through Trying so hard To see What you feel Could never be held What can not Be Writing your words Through the clouds Partially heard Still your heart Is screaming and crying Unheard....out loud Smile While the pain grows Cry To all You now know What you wanted to know.... Now You know You reached your goal Pain equals what? Happy now?
