Sun Down
[1st v:] Even as The sun begins To rise The laughter may fade And the darkness Shines through Right through Your eyes Close your mind Close off The light A percent of happiness Is swallowed By what lives Inside Trying to shine so bright Give in Give out Coming and going Losing.... Winning.... Just trying to get it right Emotions Of the soul In a constant fight [1st ch:] Running Down The dark Dirt road Wandering Inside the mind And your soul How much Can you hold The miles seem so long Talking in and out From sun up Bringing you to go to Sun down Screaming What you said Don't get it all wrong So So far...off the wall Wanting someone to catch you As you stumble And begin To spiral....then fall [2nd v:] Waking up To find yourself Inside the room That first shines That is when The darkness Looms Water in a glass Is half empty Half full Sun light shines Through the Church Stained glass Illuminating candles Give life to shadows Already known Now realizing How much the emotions have grown Stepped back Stepping up Notice all of everything That fills Your cup Drink it down The sun now Begins to shine Leaving behind The memory of Sun....down [2nd ch:] Running Down The dark Dirt road Wandering Inside the mind And your soul How much Can you hold The miles seem so long Talking in and out From sun up Bringing you to go to Sun down Screaming What you said Don't get it all wrong So So far....off the wall Wanting someone to catch you As you stumble And begin To spiral....then fall Don't make way for doubt Leave it deserted Keep it all the way Out Written: 3/8/2008 Written For: ~ Tino ~
