Mandarin Skies
[1st v:] Take a walk Through the field of Jasmine.... Take all the beauty So deep within Feel the warm breeze Blow through The Eucalyptus trees Cinnamon combines With cardamom Filling your senses Warmth Within your eyes Beautiful morning Greets you Birds in flight Through the Mandarin skies Pegasus stops to give you a ride Take you Where you desire The tiger sings Take it all in stride [1st ch:] Up and away You go So far Far....away {so far away} Where you want to be Where all is just What You hoped Taking in all that you see Embraced By the warm gentle breeze That holds you For a dream come true Still holding on Turning around To make sure The golden dream Has not gone [2nd v:] Flying so high In to the mandarin skies You've never felt so free Only to realize This is the way It should Always be Sitting on The soft green grass Piece together the shattered colored glass Telling yourself Is it too much To ask.... For all to become true Hold the golden tea cup Sipping in mystical Dreams Watching yourself sail away As the balloons go further up Jewels dance and shine Through the mandarin skies Showing you the peaceful place What can be yours again What once....too Was mine [2nd ch:] Up and away You go So far Far....away { so far away} Where you want to be Where all is just What You hoped Taking in all that you see Embraced By the warm gentle breeze That holds you For a dream come true Still holding on Turning around To make sure The golden dream Has not gone [close] Gentle breeze rocks you In to beautiful slumber Taking you to a place Where all your dreams Come true Feel the warmth of the embrace Love bestows upon you As you rise Living in forever peace and happiness Under The mandarin skies Written: 1/26/2008
