Never Known Before
[1st v:] Do you have those moments Where you ask Yourself Too many times.... Why Are there times Too many To count For all the times You've cried Only to find yourself Staring up In to the night skies Asking why your feelings Have been placed on the shelf Left wondering Will your time ever Ever be revealed Taking so long You start to forget In all that You believed [1st ch:] Close your eyes And Breathe in deep Drift away To come What may Chased down The long dark Alley way Take a quick turn Tears begin to fall And burn Crash through the floor To find yourself In a place that Is only alive in dreams Escape the monsters To happiness You've never Known....before [2nd v:] Do you believe You can ride forever On the sugarland express Heading for the place Where only lives Love and Happiness Where All is just right Where The sun shines So warm and bright.... The alarm rings And then you wake up Only to realize Life just doesn't Give us everything What we want May not be what We need....
