Eternal Joy 06/29/1993

I have traveled endless highways of
tiresome searching,
and only found peace in His Holy Refuge.

I have walked in valleys of
deepest darkness,
wanting only to go home.

I have plunged beneath waves of
rolling despair,
yearning only for His quiet Kingdom.

I have fallen from the highest branches of
His splendid glory,
wanting only to keep climbing.

I have toiled endless hours of
unfruitful labor,
wanting only to serve Him.

I have bought many treasures of
unsatisfying greed,
wishing only for the wealth of Heaven.

I have sought the fleeting pleasures of
wayward mankind,
and learned to pray for Eternal Joy.

Psalm 5:11 "But let all who take refuge in
you be glad; let them ever sing for joy.
Spread your protection over them, that those
who love your name may rejoice in you."
