Fame In All It's Glory
[1st v:] It's night time You lay down But Can't close your eyes Still awake Perhaps Thinking Of more credential lies Believing You're forgotten If not on the scene But what happens To the one Who knows More of you And what it All means Moments high Life's fulfillment It does not make When your whole life You give a whole lot less Than what you take [1st ch:] Fame In all your glory Saying no When you mean Yes Smiling When you cringe Those who know You oh so very well See through The lying Great hiding in darkness Perhaps.... Then no one Would ever see you Crying Believing That's how it was Suppose to be You missed it By a long shot You imprisoned your own soul So You would never be free [2nd v:] I'm right here You don't see I call you But you don't hear I turn away Only then That's when you try to say Don't That's not what You meant.... Just not that way If you could Just see There's more to you Than what You allowed yourself To be.... Even with a moment alone Words put out Can cut to the bone You're feeling How can I be so vicious When you already know I'm the one who knows you Knows your soul My love is Deeply delicious I would never hurt you You want to believe In what is not true The reality shines Bright and true Just like my Love always burns So deep Just For you The yesterday's Will always be That is something at times You just don't see But you're still you Even if you feel It's all you know and do Don't forget There's just so much more Waiting....
