What Does It Take....Is It A Mistake

[1st v:]

I can see
What you don't
What others....to....know

But once you stop
Stop to think
Now
Just where do you go

What are you hoping to find
When you look
And seek....

Do you ever get lost
In all those hidden
Feelings....
You locked away
So....deep inside

Is it a mistake
How much
How many
How far are you willing to go
Before....
One of us
Breaks

Stop lying to yourself
You're only
Fooling....yourself
Not me

Because
I'm the one who knows

What do I know
As much....as you

Come find out
Come and see

[1st ch:]

Where do you go
From here  { just where do you go }

What do you need
To any request
You hear no plea

What will it take
To hear the words from you

Finally say
What is true
Tell no lie

Not leaving it
On the side to suffer
Then....finally die

Hiding everything away
So deep inside
What will it take
For you to admit
Just what was....
A mistake

[2nd v:]

History
Repeats itself
In the worst way

Feeling so spent
Hoping at times

It would all....
Just go away

Then emotions break
Just like before....
Crying
It wasn't a mistake

It just took a different turn
Leaving things
Near the fire
To simmer....
Sometimes
It.... burns

Where do you go {how much do you need to know}
What does it take
To keep you
From taking another piece
From all inside of me
That you continue to break

[2nd ch:]

Where do you go
From here  {just where do you go}

What do you need
To any request
You hear no plea

What will it take
To hear the words from you

Finally say
What is true

Tell no lie
Not leaving it
On the side to suffer
Then....finally die

Hiding everything away
So deep inside

What will it take
For you to admit
Just what was
A mistake
