"Horses"

She's on my mind
most of the time.
Oh, my sore head,
with her legs either side,
Even though she seems to feel light.

She flirts in a fight
with another person raised high.
I'm half of a headless-Horse,
with two tails tucked between four legs,
Forever battling for a straight course,
with another half of equal force,
running in circles.

Lets us let them both hit the ground
because Jockeys may find themselves short,
without a Horse
and opposing sexes or not,
off we will trot,
with all bets off
and we'll gain strength sharing our stories of loss,
out in the parking lot.
