Two Lives....Two Loves....Two Lies

[1st v:]

Entwined in forever
Entwined
But not....together
One sings a song
One writes the songs
To carry on....
One loves and knows
The other
Lives to perform in his shows
One tells a lie
The other spends a lifetime
Wondering why....
She could never say enough
To profess her love for him
He never says a word
And takes off
Where to begin....

[1st ch:]

In all this confusion
Where does one begin
To unravel and reveal
What lasted with no end
From long ago
Until today
What more
Could one possibly say
All too obvious
No unanswered questions
The truth is loud enough
It's too obviously known
In company to feel
Alone
Sitting with more questions
Asking and wondering why
In our world we live apart
Two lives....two loves....two lies

[2nd v:]

In words of anger
Painful stones are thrown
Because
The hurtful truth
Is now known
I love you so deep
I feel you in my sleep
I know you feel me too
That's what connects us
The truth
Between me and you
Nothing can undo.... what a century
Created
And held on to
Stronger than words
More fierce than pride
The truth is now known
Something
Neither of us
Can any longer hide
We no longer can deny
What neither of us
Can any longer hide

[2nd ch:]

In all this confusion
Where does one begin
To unravel and reveal
What lasted with no end
From long ago
Until today
What more
Can one say
All too obvious
No unanswered questions
The truth is loud enough
It's too obviously known
In company we feel
Alone
Sitting with more questions
Asking and wondering why
In our world we live apart
Two lives....two loves....two lies
