Karaoke

The lights go down,
And the music comes on.
The crowd silences,

Listening.

As the music starts,
They let out a cheer.
They like the song,
You have nothing to fear.

You put your heart,
And your sould into the words.
Giving them more meaning,
Than the crowd has ever heard.

The girl near the bar,
Gives you a wink and a smile.
Your voice gets stronger,
Crescendo,

Whistling.

"You did great!"
They all applaud and cheer.
You revel in their blessings,
Karaoke is here.

So get on the stage,
And belt out a song.
You'd be surprised,
At how many follow along.
