The Quiet Shouts 04/09/2002Thought upon thought, ideas, memories, future plans. The mind is never still, the body forced to stand. A world full of voices, noise and demands that shout. When do I take time to seek the Master out? How do I quiet life's racing tide, and let His peace find me inside? Yet if I only ask to receive, how will I hear Him talk to me? Even the quiet shouts to be heard, and drowns out His unspoken word. Close the mind, search deep within, and let my tired soul walk with Him. Psalm 9:11 Those who know Your name trust in You; you never forsake those who seek You, Lord. Susan Hebert Ajaz copyright 04/09/02 poetrypublisher.com/sajaz |
