The Ultimate Truth**

Lord, I feel at ease writing to You,
one more year of my life is through.
Help me take better care of me,
that my life will be glorified in Thee.

This temple has gotten out of control,
somehow a threat to my very soul.
Let me take it back again - help me win,
that I might know where I begin.

Don't let me follow the path of another,
because she her own demons did not discover.
Give me strength to break the bonds,
that she herself could not see beyond.

Like so many in this world that look to You,
they still don't see the ultimate truth,
in how their choices bring them grief,
their imperfections erased because of belief.

For though they don't get it completely right,
they still seek You both day and night,
and their searching gives them its reward,
leading them to an eternity they walk toward.

Psalm 43:3 Send forth Your light and truth so
they may guide me. Let them bring me to Your
Holy mountain and to Your dwelling places.
