Awaken the Hunger**

Awaken the spirit within my soul,
that I not sleep before I reach my final goal.
For nothing less can eternity afford,
nor can the heavens join in one accord.

Awaken the hunger that searches for more,
than any earthly food can restore,
quenching the driest thirst of man,
with the purest moisture from Your own hand.

Romans 5:13 Now may the God of hope
fill you with all joy and peace in
believing that you may abound in hope
by the power of the Holy Spirit.
