Counselor of Peace** 2011Lord, you send us a counselor of peace, giving us joy that brings relief, from the trials that pound our flesh today, to the glory He brings on judgement day. The Spirit needs no defense in this life, from unbelief that deepens daily strife, for the truth will be surely made known, as the Spirit finds the ones that are His own. The knowledge of God is not merely found, in written words that teach and expound, but in the dwelling of the Spirit divine, guiding our lives both yours and mine. The Spirit was meant to glorify Your name, helping us the scriptures to explain, living within the souls of those who believe, comforting all those convicted who grieve. He will turn our mourning to eternal joy above, bringing us to understand the power of His love, our hearts will constantly rejoice, knowing we are His eternal choice. John 15:26-27 "When the helper comes whom I will send to you From the Father, that is the Spirit of truth, who Proceeds from the Father, He will bear witness of me."
