Reflections**

Who does she see through the mirror on the wall?
Who looks back from this false reflection?
Seeing someone from yesterday's lost dreams,
or does she see herself as today's final schemes?

What would the knowing mirror say to us,
if it could tell us all the secrets we refuse to see?
Would it tell us of the times we did not see,
our own perfect image He meant us to be?

Would it show us the person we just happen to be,
or would it show us the person it wants us to see?
Would we see ourselves in today's genuine light,
or would we see someone from a distant path's plight?

Whatever the mirror wants us to see today,
we may not remember as tomorrow ebbs away.
For the mirror only reflects what is truly seen,
when the heart accepts the image the soul has deemed.

Corinthians 13:12 "For now we see only a reflection
as in a Mirror, then we shall see face to face.
Now I know in part; Then I shall know fully,
even as I am fully known."
