Splinters

                    Seasons come and go
                    like summer sun and falling leaves
                    and people in your life,
                    whose hopeful smiles are turned
                    by cold indifference,
                    while we spin,you and I,
                    dancers on the wheel of time
                    and how I crushed your fragile glass
                    to splintered fragments
                    strewn across those seasons
                    that came and went
                    and haunt me now
                    in unexpected moments
                    like a seeping wound
                    that never heal's.....
