What Do You Expect
[1st v:] There You are.... Standing Left holding the door With shattered glass....everywhere Believing Not wanting to know Just how it plays out Just How will it go Watching the race Everyone Is just all.... over The place No where to go Never understanding What is already known No need to pretend Oh yes You do know [1st ch:] Name who breaks the rules How many Just too many Act up Prefer to be fools Given much of nothing In return.... Take turns to see how fast They dissolve All they have of everything Just what What do you expect When you ignore t You turn away [ turn away] Refuse to keep it all.... All in check Expecting more Never Never settle for less Left asking What's it all about Who you have to.... What's it all about Just....what For [2nd v:] Want to see The happiness You planted in your mind Just where can it be Somethings Happen in time Somethings Never reveal themselves Forever having you Hoping.... wishing.... praying Pleading Sometimes It stands before our eyes And sometimes We're blinded by Our own lies.... [break] So if you can see me I know.... you can see me And if you can hear me I know.... I know You can hear me So what What do you expect When you already know Yes.... you know Just what Just what to Expect [2nd ch:] Name who breaks the rules How many Just too many Act up Prefer to be fools Giving much of nothing In return.... What's it all about Just what Just what for Written: 5/1/2010 Inspired By ~ Events surrounding a friend who had a major problem at work, and believed they were about to be terminated on the grounds revolving around a situation that went out of control.... it all worked out, but my friend, was just beside himself with worry feeling he messed up so bad.... ah, but that's what friends are for.... { who are friends with others who hold that key} , to fix the problems! ;-)
