Rescue Me { There's No Escape }
[1st v:] Sometimes All it takes Is just a few words To make whole sense To why one may feel They've tripped up so far All up in many a mistakes I wondered through the years Why this.... Why that.... Having lived again and again Drowning then in too many tears Now all is final Dried up tears From walking too long through the barren desert No one in sight No danger near Solo stride leaves it all to one Gaining no fears.... Waiting.... waiting For.... An answer Hmmmmmm.... How long Keep waiting.... [1st ch:] Does it make sense I believe so.... If you don't remember Then you can pretend It never really happened Maybe its good it worked for awhile Then.... It comes back to life This is the way its gonna go.... Now what What did I do What didn't I do.... Words spoken Words in silence Perhaps too few Someone left the door open And through the years One by one They present themselves Not to forever be Forgotten Rescue me There's no escape From what does not want to be forgotten Living on Living on I hear you I see you I feel you Rescue me there's no escape You're not like me You pretend.... You just won't see You only feel What you want to believe [2nd v:] Yeah I know It all makes sense now But its Not all of what you desire Runs cool to the touch In fire See me Over here rescued from it all By realizing.... Pride is stronger than What some take in stride No choice Work on through I'd never trade it to believe In whats not true So many turns were Twisted.... weird Becoming too obvious Yeah.... it can hurt Shatter.... sometimes burn [2nd ch:] Does it make sense I believe so....
