The Beauty Of The Rose
[1st v:] Just when You feel You're at that moment To add up all That you believe How it all goes All gets singled out To the true reality Of The beauty of the rose Perfection In every way The light of the sun On any given day Reflects off the rose Intensifying reality To all knowing Of what is true Colors ranging In every hue For what you know The fragrance takes you there Where.... Anywhere.... you want to go Kiss of morning dew Embrace Of warm sunlight Birds of all Know these directions To always Be right [1st ch:] Envy the beauty Envy the peace Of tranquility Sometimes Just.... As it appears What is so simple Is what is first To disappear Leaving in its wake All of everything That crumbles And breaks Why And how can it be We can be so stupid To ignore.... pretend Then believe All is not what will be Some take that chance Some may forget But once the emotions Are allowed to resume Naturally You'll fall way And step.... and flow In to the dance Not totally out of control Rely.... don't forget How it goes Then enchant upon The beauty of the rose [2nd v:] What you may have felt You were taught to know To live and grow Is the final hand You were dealt But along comes by Another day Changing directions Changing speed Seeing you more clearly Loving you More dearly Not just getting by Your heartbeat Is so automatic Tires No feat With me You are now on a new journey To the moon and sun Shine again A new day had now begun Reaching that goal Time to speed up Time to Re energize your soul [2nd ch:] Envy the beauty Envy the peace Of the tranquility Sometimes Just.... As it appears What is so simple Is what is first To disappear Leaving in its wake All of everything That crumbles And breaks Why And how can it be We can be so stupid To ignore.... pretend Then believe All is not what will be Some take that chance Some may forget But once the emotions Are allowed to resume Naturally You'll fall way And step.... and flow In to the dance Not totally out of control Rely.... don't forget How it all goes Then enchant upon The beauty of the rose Written: 12/12/2009 Inspired first by my own sorted emotions, then as the second verse rounds out, it was written for my car," Princess Suzi"....because ever since I have gotten her, seems many others have now gotten the same car, but......she seems to get more attention than any other, people just notice her more! She's a cute car, with a personality....when I need her to really speed up, she kicks it out....when I slow down she accepts it, sometimes with a small kick!
