Candle Burning In The Dark

[1st v:]

If I needed more time
I'd have to realize
What I need

Just could be
Not what I want

But close enough
And it becomes mine

Short in change
Exempt on time

But room enough
For the
Never ending strange

Take a run in the park
Never stop the desire
For the candle burning in the dark

Wanting the warmth
Something to hold

All the while still need
The chill of the breeze
Surrounded by the frozen rain
Feeling the extreme
Feeling.... the cold

[1st ch:]

What words do you whisper
What words
Do you repeat

How does one feel
After

Rooms glow
A memory in the making
Let the river flow

The candle burns in the dark
Illusions
Visions
Of loves creations

The candle burns
Spice scent fills the room

A memory born
A thousand thoughts found
Scream.... cry.... whisper
Words
Never
Never heard

[2nd v:]

As the candle flame
Bounces
And dances
All through the night

No reason
No need to find blame

A feeling forever more
No.... no doubt
Everything
The emotion is on
The emotions are....
Always were....
Right

Your eyes
Your smile
As warm and inviting
As the glow of the flame
Of the candle in the dark
Hearts and souls entwined mystical
Dance forever through magical ties

The heart calls out
The soul breathes deep
For what is so wanted
So needed

Just can not
Does not
Want
To live without....

[2nd ch:]

What words do you whisper
What words
Do you repeat

How does one feel
After

Rooms glow
A memory in the making
Let the river flow

The candle burns in the dark
Illusions
Visions
Of loves creations

The candle burns
Spice scent fills the room

A memory born
A thousand thoughts found
Scream.... cry.... whisper
Words
Never
Never heard
