Sailing Away

[1st v:]

You're an early morning sunrise
You're a
Early evening....sunset

So why now complain
No reason
To act
So upset

The table top lace
Is coming apart
At the seams

Everything so slowly
So quickly
Forgotten....

Fading away
Disappear....without a trace

Place it all in your hand
Adored for a moment

Open it all up
Now
It drifts away
Just like the desert sand

[1st ch:]

The candle burns brightly for you
Dance in the shadows
Along the wall

Still.... close your eyes
And wonder
What is
What's it worth
Just what is
True

And we're all left with the gift
Of....
Just what is true
Just where am I
Just where are you

Sailing so far away
Sailing away
Left....a drift

His spirit sings to me
Just where should it
Where.... should it be

Nothing of a poor little girl
Not confused by some
Confused boy
Its all in another world

[2nd v:]

The light turns red
Stop to examine
Illusions....
Dancing in your head

The light turns green
Look in the mirror
Look out the window
Non of it

Nothing
Is as it seems

Get up and go
Got up and left....

How far up does the balloon fly
Just what
Keeps it all getting....

Just getting by
Nobody knows

Moonlight bounces on waves of glistening
The wicker of the basket
Is coming apart....

No one cares
No one is listening

[2nd ch:]

The candle burns brightly for you
Dance in the shadows
Along the wall

Still.... close your eyes
And wonder
What is
What's it worth
Just what is
True

And we're all left with the gift
Of....
Just what is true
Just where am I
Just where are you

Sailing so far away
Sailing away
Left.... a drift

His spirit sings to me
Just where should it
Where.... should it be

Nothing of a poor little girl
Not confused by some
Confused boy
Its all....
Its all in another world
