Would I Be There
[1st v:] Perhaps After thinking awhile Emotions That can change and turn faster Then any dial Well Is it yes Is it Just what is best No other answer will do Not a whole lot to wonder It remains Above the rest Questions asked Even if things changed Do I Would I.... Be there Do I....still care Wait to pause The answer is in the question Not so much in The decision Around And around we go When and where We stop.... We just May....never know See me See you While one No need to wonder Who knows exactly What is and what is Not....true Believing in much Finding excuses To steer away From a touch Give a little Wanting a whole lot Give it all All of what you got I keep climbing the high stepped stair Leaving the question If things changed Would I Would I be there [2nd v:] Do my words mean that much Do they mean anything Do you even care What I have to say Does it matter.... We're not even around each other Anyway Does it matter Who loves you Does everything else matter Other than what you Already know Is true Drowned out By the darkness of the night My heart keeps searching for excuses That helps it Be alright No doubts No lies No hidden meanings Pointless disguise I've always been here Not just awhile I'm not the one Who lives.... Lives in denial Living like I'm on a Life's love basis trial In your hand You see what you possess In your heart You see.... Just you know Just you see What you repress [2nd ch:] Around And around we go When and where We stop.... The answer is in the question Would I Would I If I have always been.... Come on now We both know what's false What's true I'll always be in love with you In those moments When you chose to despise Always remember Just exactly What sits behind Those eyes.... There is never a need to question ,when the answer has always been known ....Reality is just that, nothing ever changes a fact ~
