~ Disguised Poison ~

[1st v:]

Walk in to the garden
Watch where you step

Sometimes life's
Accidents can happen

Sometimes less
Sometimes

Depending on what
We do or say
More often

What we feel
Or what we say

Can effect our each
And....ever day

Turning points that bring no end
Leaving us to wonder
How much more
We have to bend

[1st ch:]

Without a second thought
Without a second glance

What appears as perfection
Can take a turn
Taking us in to
A completely
New direction

Live for today
Live for tomorrow

Hidden behind perfected paintings
Are all the sheltered sorrows

The cup runs over
No luck followed
With a four leaf clover

Bright as a star
Shine like the sun

You now believe
In all the dangers
Of the disguised poison

Bright as day
Dark as night

You're the one in control
Of what and when
Will shine so bright
Like the morning sun

Try not to believe
In all the dangers
Of the disguised poison

[2nd v:]

Now continue your journey
Through the magical garden

Find your peace and tranquility
Avoid anything with signs
Of a bad omen

Don't believe in pretty lies
That sparkle and shine like gold

Just the wrong step
May cost you
More
More than your soul

Find the oldest tree
Many stories have been told

How many more than you
A count surpassing
What you many....never venture
To see

[2nd ch:]

Without a second thought
Without a second glance

What appears as perfection
Can take a turn
Taking us in to
A completely
New direction

Live for today
Live for tomorrow

Hidden behind perfected paintings
Are all the sheltered sorrows

The cup runs over
No luck followed
With a four leaf clover

Bright as a star
Shine like the sun

You now believe
In all the dangers
Of the disguised poison

Bright as day
Dark as night

You're the one in control
Of what and when
Will shine so bright
Like the morning sun

Try not to believe
In all the dangers
Of the disguised poison

Try as you might
You'll try to fight
All the dangers
Of the disguised poison

[close]

Tick tock
Tick tock

The clock strikes one
The clock strikes two

Now look in the mirror
Is that really you

~ Inspired By: The simple fact that so many believe in their own lies, and find themselves on a dense and isolated road that they created on their journey through life ....that there are ways to get out of bad situations and to turn them around....to learn from all of life's turns no matter how bad or good....there is something to learn from just about everything we may come across in our lives....that we do not have to endure the bad, we can make the effort to make it better, without continuing a lie to live....because in the end, it is only 'us' { singular person} who pays the grand price....there are trees and mammals who will out live us all, their stories are longer, because they have endured life longer, but who has the better story....us or them ? ~
