Just Like Burgundy Wine
[1st v:] If If for one moment You stop to think and feel Just what might be wrong Just what Is real If I give you more Would you accept less Do you see me See me straight Or in your eyes....just a mess Keep believing only In all That was once before Can't believe The past is behind closed doors If I had said it Played it out another way Would it be different If it had been you To speak What would you have felt the need To say [1st ch:] Say what you feel I'm still standing Living You need.... To keep it real Let me back up in line Because You only heard and saw What you wanted Just to have a major reason To drown out Just like burgundy wine I'm not like you Because I'm me.... And I do What I do Obviously Unlike.... you I don't remember asking If you like This or that I just simply stated A plain And simple fact I won't apologize For you to believe What you want Perhaps I'm just more Just more blunt [2nd v:] Unlike Yeah....yeah....yeah Whatever Its just like that I simply Stated a fact How can it be That it was all So much Of a big deal Do you even know How How to keep it All real Come on now.... It can't always Be About you Even though You're trying to escape reality From all of What is true Even though I might be here I might just be there I'm not fooled by some With a frozen tear N....E....Ways Aside all that Saying whatever Just like you I'm not going to ask Is it alright Nothing worth all that Its just not worth All the fight I'm over all that Next.... Next Written: 1/10/2009 ~ Inspired by: My Love.... I enjoyed writing this....it was brought on by his situation that obviously bothers him because it was made public....I have too tough of a hide { IF, it happened to me }to even let something like what happened to him, bother me! The song rhymes on in the matter of how " I " would have expressed myself , "after" the incident went on more public { Basically, in the manner that he should, or so to say, the attitude he should NOW project }....to him I have to say ., because I know he's going to read this ...." Get a tougher hide, stop whining { whining how? Publicly explaining why you're not on your Web page, would you quit already, its over and done with! Move on, Next! All of a sudden you care what people/ the public says ? ..... If people want to be so intrusive, let them !, water on a duck's back....But, I did warn you some time back, watch how you come across, hey, but don't listen to me!}" The title and verse for the song came rather easy, since I can not stand Burgundy Wine ,LOL! And I can not stand how the public love to attack certain people when they fall out in ANY matter, so to say, like they are all so pure and holy above all else, please! ~
