The One

[1st v:]

The one
Who sees me

To the one
Who can read
Me
Inside out

Never....never
Without a doubt

Always knowing
What is false
Knowing
All that is true
Knows without me saying
Just when I'm blue

Always knowing
How and what
I'm feeling

Because
There's more to me
That what one
Can see

[1st ch:]

Just what
Does it take

To make
Or break

The crystal vase
Seeing only what
The eyes can see
Visibly tracing in your mind
Each out line
Of the face

Seeing in ones heart
Knowing all
Without ever hearing
A single word told
Because
You know inside and out
Each and every part
To have and forever hold

The one
Shines forever
Like stars so bright
And becomes
Your evening sun

[2nd v:]

Searching
Never finding

The one

Who comforts you
Because they are
Part of the pattern
Which is sewn together
So true

That special piece of your heart
That with out them
You feel
Something is missing
When from them
You are apart

Its only with
The one
Does
Their voice soothe and calm
That their touch
Always
And only
Means so much

Does the one
See me

Yes he does
But blinded
By his own false pride

He'll kick it all
Away
Straight over
To the side

A fool believes
In all that glitters
Is gold

The one
Knows the truth
But in the end....
Buys only what
Can be sold
Remaining the same
In a warm room so cold

[2nd ch:]

Just what
Does it take

To make
Or break

The crystal vase
Seeing only what
The eyes can see
Visibly tracing in your mind
Each outline
Of the face

Seeing in ones heart
Knowing all
Without ever hearing
A single word to be told
Because
You know inside and out
Each and every part
To have and forever hold

The one
Shines forever
Like stars so bright
And becomes
Your evening sun
