CLASS OF  "67

As we graduated and moved on, in our lives.
The girls took husbands, boys took wives.

We soon had children, of our own.
Now years later, they've all grown.

Time marched on, you got it right.
We became grandparents, over night.

With time we realize, we're getting old.
Some are in the great, grandparent mode.

Some have no kids, not married, never have been.
But their niece's and nephew's, they rate them a ten.

Let us reflect and remember, on this day.
All of our classmates, that have passed away.

We lost them to disease, accidents and Viet Nam.
Lets bow our heads, in remembrance of them.

Pray that they all knew the Lord as their Savior.
And may your faith in the Almighty never waver.

At our age we know, that our time draws near.
As we visit with classmates, and friends so dear.

Who knows our next Reunion, may be in Heaven.
Where we will reunite, We are the Class of "67

Our present life is with our family's,
and the future of watching them grow.

 BUT:  Tonight----

Let us recapture the years of our youth. Let us reunite this evening, and find the teenager within us. Let the music, faces, voices, and the stories, help us to escape, the tedious affair called Adulthood. Let us return if only,  just for a short time tonight, to the days of immaturity. When we weren't  Mothers and Fathers, Husbands and Wives and Etc. Let us return to those days, when choosing an outfit was a big deal. Jobs were usually part time, and someone else, took care of the finances. Let our minds open once again, to roam the school halls, in blissful ignorance. When the future was bright, and time was unlimited, and everyone, was happy for life. Let us reunite with the teenager within us.
Just  "DO IT !  DO IT ! DO IT !
