*Standing Naked*
I stand naked before you
be you friend or lover
I must be brave
digging deep within
if we are to bond
I must be willing
To bare my secrets
my deepest fears
and darkest soul
my most beautiful face
and ugliest moments
of shame
I'll open my trust
that you might
make me aware
of my beauty and defects
in a gentle loving manner
and I might do the same
Together we stand naked
sharing all to heal
and to grow
